My deepest condolences to you all, from myself & Julian. It was such a shock to hear of Marie's sad passing. We had some great laughs, days & many nights... seemingly & ACTUALLY sooo long ago now, at the New Inn, Agincourt, various balls, etc. We later randomly bumped into each other, working for the same Co., in different depts. Marie was such a funny, bright & kind character, her laugh was infectious! She was taken too soon from her loved-ones.
I can't imagine seeing Cheri without seeing Marie too 😞, my condolences to you too Cheri 💔.. & to the whole Parkes family 💫💜✨ Kirsten Jack (nee Green) XXXXX

‘Be kind’ is said by so many nowadays, and Marie was a truly kind kind soul. I have so many amazing memories of us as girls turning into teens…school ski trips with red wine and ice skating ( never a good combo!) White puffball skirts from a shopping trip to Etam for a trip to Henley regatta. Dressing up as St Trinians for the carnival float. Pool days at my home and lunch at your granny’s house in Wokingham - she did a mean chopped salad! From the puffball to the Gatecrasher balls at Hammersmith Palais in the tiniest black corset dresses, that my mum sewed us into so they wouldn’t fall off and expose everything!
Darling Marie you’re one of life gooduns, spirited and with the absolute kindness soul. Thank you for your friendship. To Phil, Lavinia and Scott, my love and thoughts are with you all. Xx
