I can't find the words for a tribute just yet, so I'm going to use a poem by Donna Ashworth called
GIANT.
You were so giant in this life
my love
As though you were the galaxy
and everyone else the stars
Your were so full
of life
in this life
that in death
you are the same
giant.
And the hole you have left
is giant too.
You were so giant in this life
that my grief for you
must be giant also
that's the science you see.
And really, there is little to be done
about that.
For love breeds grief
grief breeds love
and a giant hole
does not easily fill
